Privacy Policy

Effective date: 3 September 2026 · Last updated: 3 September 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how iDroidLab (“we”, “us”, or the “Service Provider”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the iDroidLabTV application (the “Application”) on phones, tablets, Android TV, and other supported devices. The Application is provided as a free service, “AS IS”.

iDroidLabTV is a local-first IPTV player. You add your own Xtream Codes or M3U playlist accounts. We do not operate, host, or sell TV channels, movies, or series. Playback uses streams that you or your IPTV provider supply.

Information stored on your device

Most Application data stays on the device. This can include:

PINs are stored in a hashed form on the device. We cannot recover a forgotten PIN from our servers because that PIN is not sent to us.

Information collected automatically

When you download, install, or use the Application, we and our service providers may collect:

The Application does not collect precise GPS location. We do not use the Application to process your data with generative AI models.

Advertising

The Application is free and is designed to show advertisements, including now and in future releases. Ads may be banner, interstitial, rewarded, native, or similar formats supplied by Google AdMob and other advertising partners.

Advertising partners may collect device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, app events, and interaction with ads. Ads may be contextual or personalized based on your advertising identifier and activity, subject to your device settings and applicable law. You can limit ad personalization in your device advertising or privacy settings. Uninstalling the Application stops further collection through the app.

We may also use ads to promote iDroidLabTV itself. Adding or changing ad networks later will still be covered by this policy as long as those partners process data only to deliver, measure, and improve advertising in the Application.

Third-party services

The Application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

When you play a live channel, movie, or series, your device connects directly to the stream URL from your IPTV provider or M3U playlist. That provider can see your IP address and viewing requests. We are not responsible for a third-party IPTV provider’s privacy practices.

Metadata requests (for example title lookups) send search text such as a title and year to TMDB or OMDb. Subtitle searches send title or file information to OpenSubtitles. Trailer playback uses YouTube.

How we use information

Legal bases and sharing

Where required, we process data to provide the service you request, to pursue legitimate interests such as app security and advertising, and to comply with law. We may disclose information:

We do not sell your IPTV passwords. Credentials you enter are stored on the device for connecting to your provider.

Retention and your choices

Device data remains until you delete a profile, an IPTV account, watch history, or uninstall the Application. Server-side analytics, crash, and advertising records are kept by those providers according to their policies, typically for a limited period needed to operate their services.

You can stop collection by uninstalling the Application. To request deletion of information you sent us by email, contact support@idroidlab.com. We will respond in a reasonable time.

Children

The Application is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Kids profiles are a local filter on this device (for example hiding 18+ / R / TV-MA titles). They are not child accounts we host, and they do not make the Application suitable for unsupervised use by young children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact support@idroidlab.com and we will delete it from our systems.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for the security of your device, IPTV credentials, and profile PINs.

International processing

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from your own.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including when we add advertising or other features. We will post the updated policy on this page. Continued use of the Application after a change means you accept the updated policy.

Your consent

By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you consent to this Privacy Policy.
